A week in Rupert Sanderson: the Tawny vs the Nuance

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

Rupert Sanderson’s a name that will send shivers down every fashion-loving girl’s spine – for all the right reasons, of course. Those classic shoes each tweaked with an individual style to transform his talent for traditional craftsmanship into a unique vision have caught the discerning eyes of many a modern day style icon – from Kate Moss to Cheryl Cole, no less – making him a firm favourite on fashion’s footwear radar. Yep, that’s Rupert Sanderson alright, and what most girls would give to spend a day in his delicately-designed shoes. Oh, wait a minute…

How to wear it: the cape

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

Ah, the cape, the answer to all our – yep, you guessed it – transitional wardrobe woes. Perfect for pulling on to keep the chill at bay when you don’t want to be cosied up to your neck in sheepskin, and great for giving your hands the freedom to roam all the rails they like. Ah, yes, the classic camel cape is back, and this season, it’s better than ever.

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

She went from six collections a year to two, but come October, Kate Moss’s fourteenth collection for Topshop will be her final offering – but fear not a fashion stampede, apparently there just isn’t the same storm surrounding it now that there used to be.

Which Fall 2010 Trends Are You Excited to Try?

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

Though I just moved back down to college in southern California where the weather is heating up even more in August, right now I just can’t help but continue to think about fall trends. Perhaps it is something about returning to an academic environment that makes me want to begin fall or, at least, buy new fall clothes.

Denim Styles for Fall 2010

Monday, August 30th, 2010

Though it’s essential for every woman to own classic styles of jeans, such as a straight leg jean, a wide leg trouser jean, and a relaxed fit boyfriend jean, it can also be fun to try out new trendy denim styles. The jeans being produced for this fall are perhaps some of the coolest “trend” jeans I’ve seen in a long time.

Crop Tops Make a Comeback
